Elena Mikhailenko
Opera singer, soprano
Was born in Magnitogorsk. In 2001 ended her studies on the conducting and choir department of the Magnitogorsk State Conservatory. Last two years of education was combining with the work as choir artist in the opera and balley theatre of Magnitogorsk. From 2001 till 2003 Elena she was making her postgraduate training program “Choral singing in the contemporary music” in the Moscow state conservatory to make her.
In 2008 she graduated from the vocal faculty in the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (training course of Professor R. Lisitsian).
Elena is the laureate of the vocal competition in the framework of the International Festival of Arts in Astana (2003), the laureate of the International Vocal Competition “Bella Voce” (2005), a diploma winner of the Nadezhda Obukhova all-Russian Competition (2006), the laureate of the 3rd prize of The Glinka International Vocal Contest (2009).
In 2006 she made her brilliant debut as Katerina Izmailova in the Helikon-opera’s show “Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District” by D. Shostakovich on the stage of Israeli Opera (Tel-Aviv) during the theatre’s tour. And in 2008 she has impersonated the part of Aida (“Aida” by G. Verdi) in the coproduction of Helikon-Opera and the Opera de Massy.
