Moscow, 1955. Mels, a model member of the Komsomol, helps in the crackdown on the Stilyagi—youths who adore boogie-woogie, jazz, and trendy fashion. However, his life is turned upside down after he meets a girl named Polza at an underground dance club and falls for her. Now, Mels must not only adapt to the society of the Stilyagi but also fight for his newfound beliefs.
